Uprgrading outboard

Would you know if mercury does? I never would have though doing my own install would affect manufacturers warranty

Mercury and Tohatsu ( 20hp Mercury is a tohatsu ) both will not ship or sell a remote motor without install as they do not consider it portable at that point. Suzuki and i think Yamaha are the only ones that currently will. I know for sure Suzuki will because I bought a brand new remote DF25A from online outboards and rigged it myself
