According to the serial number it would be a 96, and I was looking possible brand new but not definite, just exploring all options and pricesHydraulics will change over. The throttle cables and controls will work. The only question is the electronics of the control. What years are the two motors in question.
Are you sure it is hydraulic steering ?----Pictures ?
Looks to be standard rotary cable steering. It should swap over.
Control looks to be standard as well. If the electronics are plug and play, you should be good to go.

Haven't decided yet when I went to my local dealer the guy gave me the run around and said everything had to be replaced and only they would be able to do it in the shop. When I said I have been doing all repair to it (replace transom and wiring) he basically said he wouldn't sell to me which lead me to this forum looking for answers and help to see what he said was true or not.
