Trolling motor mount

Ahoy mariners,
So I have 14’ Starcraft seafarer- aluminum v-hull, that I’m working on outfitting for fishing. And I just got a new motorguide xi3, which is a folding style, bow mounted trolling motor. I’m trying to figure out how to mount it. Any ideas, advice, or experience on design or materials? Also my boat is pretty well stripped out only the benches are in place (but not for long as they will be getting replaced, but that’s another topic) so I have some flexibility.

Mine has a piece of square tubing welded across the bow,it’s permanent for sure,I bought it that way

Yea I’ve been thinking about getting something welded up- though not by me, the only thing I can weld is the stick to the base metal. Also nice boat, i love the two tone paint.
