When I replace my transom I will be doing it from the inside of the boat. I wanted to know can it be replaced in 3 sections instead of one whole piece? I have a notch transom on a Grady White boat. I wanted to cut the transom in 3 and bond it back in place. Because of room restrictions the 3 sections would be as follow: starboard trailer strap section, motor section and port trailer strap section.

Here is a picture of the back of the boat. I am not sure if it is in 3 pieces or not, I am just trying to plan how will i attack this in the fall. I don't want to cut the outer skin and my inner skin is easy to peel as it is chipping like paint. The core in most parts i can dig all the way to the inside of the outer skin. Motor doesn't have much play when i step on it but the evidence it apparent in the inside. All my research I have not seen anyone talk or do a transom in 3 sections. They either pour or I see them place the entire shape in at one time.
