transom repair help

I have a 1975 Mon Ark 17 footer with a 45 hp Chrysler ob. I have to rebuild the transom but i'm not real good with fiberglassing. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Also, as best i can tell the entire width of the transom is rotted. The corner and sides are firm and the glass is still well adhered. My main question is how do i tie the transom to the corners so it will be as secure as i can get it? I plan to double layer the plywood with a layer of glass in-between. I really need to know how to tie the transom to the corner.

Don't worry about fiberglassing its not hard to do it just takes time to do.

It start by tearing out your old transom wood then we will be able to tell how to tie the new glass into your boat.
