Hey TD,
Do you mind explaining the glassing process? Also do you have to worry about making the transom to thick with theadded material. Last my transom is 1 3/4 do you think I should go 1/2, 3/4, 1/2?

you want the new transon the same thickness as the one that was taken out and from what i understand about the glassing process is you take either epoxy or polyester resin and fiberglass mat and apply it to the new transom wood completely sealing all edges and front and back with a layer of resin and mat and work out all air bubbles....i think that is correct if not tash or oops will correct me...................Mike
