I hate to say you need to redo it again but man i really think you need to redo it again. Replacing that section of cap is easy though but in order to do a proper repair the cap needs to be cut off the entire back end. You would have been better off with Seacast with the way that you have done this. Those gaps on the sides are not supposed to be there and are now the weak point of the transom it will introduce flex with any movement of the motor,(bouncing on the highway, underpower, reversing), which will cause cracks and eventually failure. What your motor mounts to will be strong but what holds that is not.
