There are many groups out there that malign the name of Christian by doing the oposite of what the bible teaches but professing christianity. <br /> I'm not trying to preach to you, like I said, I'm not a practicing Christian, but I hate to see people make the kind of statements you made. Christianity is getting trashed all the time, and I think it's to the detriment of our society. <br /> I'm not saying the people who made those statements are not true christians, I don't know or care. Sometimes people say things that sound callous without realizing what it implies. Perhaps if more cold blooded killers were executed, people wouldn't feel the way they do when justice finaly IS served, albeit 20 years late. I.E. "what? I can't believe it! You mean they finaly got it right this time? He's not gonna walk like all the others?"<br /> For the record, I agree that he got whats coming to him. I could definetly put a bullet in his head and sleep well that night, but I don't know about actualy celebrating it. Death is cold and final. <br /> I agree about death sentences only for those without any doubt as to their guilt. As for life in prison, it should be a life of labor. But labor that actualy pays all the costs of their interment, as well as some money left over for a victims fund.
