Well, I have spent a little more dough on this then I was planing.
I have my marine carpet 20oz, for a great deal off ebay, $6.50 a running foot plus $2.50 for shipping. I got a roll of 6'x6'.

I also bought three hatch pulls on here(iboats, http://www.iboats.com/Flush-Pull-Small/dm/*******.563969884--**********.649066386--view_id.39789) which were a great deal, plus a very fast ship! I just need a good day to lay it out and glue her down! MN weather has been a bit cold and wet this April. :/
I also purchased a flush mount tackle box to install right before you step up to the deck, Should be nice!
