Looking great WM. My boat has the nautilex running up the sides too. I don't know if you want to do carpet because of price but if not, the Nautolex looks good on the sides too. I didn't change my side pieces because of price but wished I had. The old stuff is a bit darker from age. I convinced myself that I'm the only one that will notice but it would have been worth the effort.

Thanks for stopping by and the encouragement fellas :yo:

Pulled the trigger on the big money item today... iboats made it too tempting to resist with a 10% off clearance discount promo. 10% is a chunk of change when it comes to a high dollar electric TM. :tears_of_joy:

LED's look awesome!!! That Terrova can deploy and hold the boat in one location right? I love that it can be controlled via necklace remote.

Do you install battery shutoff switches/switch? I'm almost to that step and would like to see how you wire that since there is a fuse panel involved, makes it a bit more challenging.

Thanks Bmer, I don't have the motor of batteries yet but I plan on putting an inline breaker of the correct amps on the main power to the motor, there's no way you can route it through the fuse panel as the power delivered to it is only a 12ga 20 amp feed.

The Terrova I bought doesn't self deploy, those are way more costly and since I have an open bow that cost doesn't need to be expended.

Sure looks like you're having fun now Watermann. Love the LED''s. I have toyed withinstalling them on my boat but I'm not an early riser and don't like boating at night for fear of collisions. There are a lot of row boats with no lights on my lake. I'll do it one of these years but they would be more luxury than an actual used feature. Sort of like the day planner app on my phone. I don't need that to tell me to get up, go to work, and come home when done. But I still have the app. Lol

Any of you in the know about these Merc controls. What's the function of the receptacle on the front side?

I'm hoping the little smiley face is for gauges like my tach and power.

The plug for it seems to be missing and so far I'm not able to locate one online. You hoarding them all down there in Yakima?

I think I found it with some more digging. I found an image that will work that shows the plug. 46239 - Harness, Tachometer to Remote Control

Heh, I wish. Mine was an empty hole too. Complete with spider webs.

Are you planning on buying a plug or wiring it yourself?

I ordered a nos oem cable, it was under 14 bucks plus shipping. Beats tearing it apart and trying to rewire it.
