I got some more parts in today on the brown truck. I was pondering a few different options for the trim switch at the helm and decided to so with the blinker style Pro Trim made by Seastar to fit my new Seastar NFB helm perfectly.

I also got some new Wise blast off series seats. Here's one mocked up at the helm.

Oh no - Mrs. WM will have to watch the blinkers now.

Actually, that's a slick trim control, Rob.

Looks classy WM. I like that you can operate it with both hands on the wheel too.

Very nice! I like the seats allot, and having the trim switch mounted on the column makes perfect sense. :thumb:

Thanks fellas, yeah I really like the trim switch and the new seats are very nicely made with some high density foam padding. I did have to tighten all the hinge bracket screws, they were all backed out, some blue locktite should keep that from happening again.

I also added a water proof tilt toggle switch to the stern for the motor tilt, it'll help out big time not having to run forward when trailering.

I've never saw a trim switch like that... I would like your input on it after you splash and use it a bit. It really looks sweet! I also like your seat. it looks like it would have good support. Nice work as always Wm! :thumb:

Parts are coming in stockpiled for the impeding warm up and a week long resto blitz to push me over the top. Been working on wiring and got the fuse panel set in place now with everything cleaned up. I also added some lighting under the consoles, yeah I know it's been done before but not by me ;)

They LEDs under there are on they're own switch I just thought it looked cool to have all the different colored light in the pic. The LEDs are not set in place where I want yet. I have to get the console panels set first and that's after I figure out what to do under the consoles for the sides of the hull. Thinking... gasp maybe glue on some carpet...

Awesome as always, WM! :eagerness:

Are you also going to have a trim switch up at the bow?

One nice thing about carpet: it's waaaay more comfortable in the sun if you have bare feet.

The boat looks awesome, man. Great job...again!

Thanks BWR, I'm happy with how shes turning out so far. No plans for a trim switch at the bow, not sure why I would need one there :noidea:

Appreciate the praise Chem, so the carpet would go on the sides of the hull underneath the console so not much foot action would be on the carpeting. I was checking out Budski's V5 and how he did that area. These V5's have a super steep V that cuts way in compared to the regular SS.

Bass boats and saltwater flats boats often have a trim switch up at the bow panel so that the big motor can be raised without leaving the bow when the water starts to get really skinny and just the trolling motor is needed. :)

Nice looking boat and lighting.

How are you finding time for that kind of work with all the snow falling outside. You must be snowed in by now.

You're making me envious you know.

Nice led color with the gray interior. It continues to Look great!

With all his progress, I hope you've found time to keep your refreshments supplied for the resto buddy ;-)
