Yeah I'll get on that

M is for manual, there is a shift up and down button on the shift lever. Chevy Tahoe.

Factory transmission temp readout is awesome. Every "tow package" truck should have one...sadly not the case. I have to put an aftermarket one in my tundra for long distance towing.

Just out of interest, what is the normal operating temperature of a tranny? How much hotter or any difference at all while towing? I too love the cluster. Real nice layout. I thought for a sec it was your boat cluster all lit up. Lol

The Tahoe is my work vehicle but I have an Avalanche with pretty much the same everything. The tranny in the summer runs 100 degrees over what the outside air temp is and when towing a tin boat it doesn't seem to change much.

I just got in the rig and snapped a shot of the - 8 f temp to show my BC buddy the cold we got from the north, I wish my boat gauges looked that nice..

I don't mean to foul your thread Rob, but this boat needs that dash with the seat belt warning.

Not sure which would be worse with that thing, riding out the top heavy impeding crash or face planting out ahead of it.

That boat is owned by someone with a tremendous ego huh? Or someone who watched titanic a few times too many.

Don't white thrones have a hole in the seat?

I continue to mess up your thread. :sorry:

Still plugging away at the wiring, helm is a mess but the batteries in the stern are all cleaned up well except for the wiring on the TnT, it's a tangled web from the relays but not much I can do about that. Boxed up starting battery on starboard side will just start the motor and run the TnT unit. Deep cycle on the port side will run everything else on board.

Pumps and lighting are all good to go.

Tells us about the bow marker lights, imbedded into the rubrail?

Looks nice. I'd be interested in those bow lights too. I need to change the setup on our SS due to how the trolling motor is mounted.

Thanks for stopping by to check things out, always nice to have some guys buzz by the dry dock. :)

The bow LED lighting was a pretty cheap and easy set up. After mounting them under the RR I drilled a 5/32 hole up into the inner RR bracket so the wire could go up inside and then ran them forward and inside at the bow point. I filled the wire mouse hole I drilled and coated the wire with liquid tape. I hope the 3M mounting tape holds but I have my doubts about long term although it looks to me like the stuff used to hold car trim onto the sides only thinner. You can't even see the LED strips unless you bend down to look so they should go unnoticed and work great as little as I go out at night and they're bright!. :D

Nice effect. I was thinking it was part of the rubrail. Would be pretty slick to replace a small section of black plastic for these LEDs. Looks nice.

Yeah vinyl rub rails are made to take an impact, I don't know about an LED light strip holding up to a dock impact or two before you know it they wouldn't work.
