Re: The wailing begins!

And then, Bush won.
As far as the Christian thing goes, you have made a pretty big point out of indentifying yourself by your faith, and the repubs have made a pretty big deal out of claiming God and Christ are on their side, and generally the Christain movement always make a pretty big deal out of how they hold the key to all morality, it all just starts to blur together after a while... Sorry for the mix up!
I haven't made a single point about my faith, unless prompted to do so iether in defense of those beliefs, or in answering some silly report of another assault on our basic freedoms or rights by such tactics as censoring historic documents ,removing sculptures containing the Ten Commandments, or another in the string of Anti-
Christ descissions from the "bench", futher fueling the fires that border upon persicution. Understand this. We insist on retaining our founding history and our religous faith without reprisals. If there are any reprisals, such as some silly socialist priciple banning the "declaration of independance" because of the dreaded "GOD" word contained therein!
It will not stand. Wait and see. This mutant will be overuled, and maybe even terminated for this asault.
As for recounting votes, it didn't werk in Florida iether. This aint Russia (yet).

Woodrat, the aforemention group is considerably more 'moral' than the group that wants to mainstream homosexuality, who want's to give children condoms, who wants to continue killing the soon to be born, etc etc. Tis true that no one is perfect, but I'd rather side with the ones who at least attempt a reasonable order of things.

and then Bush Won :D

And he won because he stood-up for the values we Christians try to live by, Mark. Because we are Christian, we try not to kill anyone, steal things, cheat, lie and the rest of morally-ethical values.
You'll note I stated, "TRY". Even Bush is human. We all are. We take the uphill fork in the hard road of life in an effort to be good, not bad. It is often too steep for most of us. Sometimes we make it, some times, we give-in to the ever-present temptations of what surounds us.

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord".(Josh) And it aint all that threatening to anyone else's way of life, including yours.

I also really love the party of small government having slipped in a little line in to the big omnibus bill giving pretty much any member of congress or their staff the right to look at anyone's tax returns..

Ethics! har har har! I also get sick and tired of hearing teh anit-christ leftists puking their garbage, standing on their humanist values, attempting to, as the Bible (which is, by the way, the only book of prophecy in the entire history of man to have NEVER been proven incorrect in any aspect) states "get into Heaven by any other way"...sort oflike the person who got into the marriage celebration dinner and was thrown out because he wasn't invited...he was thrown out! Too many anti-christ humanist folks who make tehir lifes effort to try and prove there is no God, will find themselves thrown out of Heaven adn into OUTER DARKNESS...Hell, I believe it means there.

Morals? I wonder just what you consider morals to be woodrat...you are always so quick to attempt to put other's morality down...please tell us just what you consider morals to be?

Definition of morals. Now there is an argument.
I hear humanist say all the time that they have their own set of morals. What are they? Do they change depending on the situation? Some say they just obey the law. Well killing unborn babies is not against the law. That practice fits nicely into many humanist sense of morals.
My morals are based upon the ten commandments. I believe that there is indeed a great consequence if I do not follow them.
For the humanist there are no real consequences so what are the morals? If one breaks the law and does not get caught are there any consequences? I think not.

Here's an interesting thought: The Ten Commandments are based on morality, not the other way round.

Otherwise, there was no moral objection to murder prior to Moses's trip to the mountaintop, and we know that's not true because Cain suffered consequences for murdering his brother.

Let the first political party without sin cast the first stone.

I think you have to admit that if two counts show a winner, that you should give up. Just think, if a third count finds a different winner, then what would the two opponents then do?

Ken

Oh no, a republican will never contest an election.

http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/politics/2927233

Yes, I vote republican, always have and always will, but dont defend them like they are flawless. Please remember that they are all politicians and when you know when they are lying when their lips are moving.

P.S. Heflin in the republican that tried to steal his maids son cause he could raise the kid better than his biological parents. The kids real parents had to go to court to fight for their own son. Pretty pathetic.

Ken
