Teleflex old style helm needed

I know they have discontinued the old style teleflex rack helm, but I need one.

The trouble id have to go through to take out my brand new "old style" (i missed that caption when i bought it this week) rack and cable to return/replace it would be a huge pain.

Does anyone know where i can get an old helm? i dont want to return my old style cable to replace for a new one because id be out yet another 100 bucks in shipping both ways and i cant find a new old style helm.

I have already lost $240 trying to replace my old steering due to stupid mistakes on my part and cant afford much more.

www.twincityoutboard.com probably has what you are looking for, but it seems that you don't need/want to buy another steering system.

Short of that or Ebay, that's all I've got. Good luck!

Does anyone know where i can get an old helm or have a working one they have recently replaced that i can have/buy/trade for the new style one i have?
