Your question didn't mention a time limit in obtaining the 60 mph average.

In the old days, the parkway was what they called the space between the roadway and the sidewalk. They still do in South Milwaukee, but they do stuff funny there.

Why are traffic light red yellow green, when 10 or is it 30% of the male population is red green colorblind??

They should be blue yellow orange.

if you dropped a golfball and a bowling ball from
5 stories at the same time, which one would hit
the ground first?

mw-
in a vacuum, both would hit at same time since both dropped at same time and both would accelerate by gravity (9.81m/sec2) constant which is not affected by mass/etc. In real life, friction with air would affect time based on surface area and aerodynamic shape. physics is phun!! ;)

Actually I think the bowling ball would win. The dimples on the face of the golf ball would affect the air friction. If the ball spun at all, its trajectory would not be straight thus the Golf ball would fall further.

If you began digging a hole to the other side of the earth,(assuming the earths core is not molting rock)at what point would you be digging up?When you begin digging you are throwing dirt out of the hole.At what point would the dirt be falling in your face?
