It worked fine before we put it away for the winter. Now it won't turn at all. Powersteering resavoir, i tried to bring rpm to see if that would help but nothing. It has a alpha one,
s/n numbers on the outboard is. 0d659479 and od657816
So you cant turn the steering wheel? or the pulley on the ps pump wont turn?
If the pully you need a new pump. They do seize. probably a shaft bearing that got water in it somehow and rusted. Not sure if you can just replace bearing or not in those.
About 99% of the time, it caused by corrosion in the aluminum tube in the power steering cylinder where the cable goes through. The corrosion builds up prevents it moving.
