Steering Wheel

Hello all. I have a 2003 2052 and have a question. Under the steering colum there is a thumb screw, mine fell out and I am having a tough time trying to find where it threads to. What is this little bolt for? What does it hold?

My 2000 2052 has the thumb screw at the bottom of the steering shaft cover. I have not turned it in all the way but I believe it will lock the steering wheel in a set position.
