Re: Starcraft Parts

Yes iT is

It may be new as in freshly made, from the ad.
Have made a copy of an old emblem

made of Plastic Polyurethane as seen in the photo
but it is a copy which may explain the T. For 40 clams he should at least put some black paint in the right places.

Hi all.

Anyone have the bow cap from a '67-ish Sea Scamp? Could use seat brackets, too, if anyone has some.

VL, Here's the wheel.

And to update: I have two bow castings

One pair of lower rub rail endcaps in good shape slightly pitted and i mean slightly.

One original bow light from my 66 sunchief that was pitted real bad and I had it chromed. The pitting still shows but no one would notice on the front of the boat. Light doesn't have the insides but you can get thewm anywhere. I went with a light that holds a flag up front.

One Port side transom end cap for an I/O model-this means it's flat across he back and rounded up the side for the rubrail-will not work on outboard models.

Two windshield base end caps for any 60's model with the 4 peice windshield

Two transom end caps from an islander (75) model I/O SOLD!!!

One bow light with flag pole attachment one screw hole flange is cracked at the hole but this light would work just fine with insides

Oh yeah and a pair of transome handles from an 18'Holiday. I have a pair on mine-you aren't gonna lift the boat with em but i use them to tie off all kinds of stuff. They're in good condition.

Showing what has sold!

Also I'm wondering how many folks would be interested in me doing another run of the Starcraft Logos for the side of the boat. I hate dealing with these people but if 4 or 5 of you want them I'll suck it up and do another run???

Re: Starcraft Parts

NB's logos look a 1000 times better than those eBay jobs. Are they powder coated aluminum or plastic?

They're waterjetted out of aluminum stock and powdercoated. Very nice!

NB, it's not really the one I'm looking for, you're setting on it, but if you get enough other people together, I'll get one. Might take more than that to make it worth your while tho.

Re: Starcraft Parts

Have a '77 Starcraft Tristar that I have restored. Still trying to find these light frames. Not sure if they are original equipment or aftermarket.

You might post pix of the light frames. If you try the Fiberglassics.com library you might find a vintage hardware ad that shows them if you don't have pix or the originals to take pix of. If you have them & pix, post pix of the back if there are stamps or #'s someone might recognize the maker.

Yes clicked 'submit' then realized I forgot to add photos! Here they are.

Re: Starcraft Parts

Well those are certainly going to need to be specific to your hulls contours....

Are you doing any other work to the Tristar? And rehab for function, or faithful restoration? If you're doing other work on the hull, you might look for any docking lights that would work & possibly slightly change the location or fit so that the replacements are functional. Just not 1977 SC Tristar accurate...

Either way, you might try some of the boat salvage yards listed here

I don't know but these are close:

And in a fiberglass hull, could certainly be made to fit/work IMHO.
But ouch, $100+ for the light (guessing bulb) only on evil-bay. $450+ for a complete set of 2.

Iboats carries similar lights

As do multiple online retailers

Re: Starcraft Parts

Ouch is right! Looks like they would work though.
Restoration is close to faithful. Have enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks your input and links.
