I sure wouldn't make a duck boat out of her.

BTW - Moved it here to the CL/Ebay thread from the SC Garage thread - It fits better here. OH.

I posted it as a semi humorous suggestion for CW, but I know he will see it here. Othersay be interested though this one probably saw a lot of salt.

Salt schmalt, it's not caustic soda  so as long as the boat is trailered and taken care of no biggie. My Chief saw plenty of salt over in Puget Sound and was neglected but she still held up just fine.

I agree, salt water isn't acid.

This is a great boat, one of my favorite SC's.

The port raised deck area originally had a dinette where the helm seat is now, or maybe that was just an option.

It's a great family cruiser, but I'm realizing now that what I want is an easy to trailer dedicated fishing boat. If it was closer I'd definitely be looking at it, though :D. If it was an outboard I'd head to Mass and buy it.

What's a 16 year old yamaha 50 worth? I'm all for doing whatever you want with your boat, but the resale value is close to zero on this one.
Agreed ^^$5800 (Canadian, right?) is overpriced for an unfinished cuddy AND the 2nd ugliest I/O to OB conversion pod I've ever seen, maybe 3rd worst, but still

Whats that in US $, $4140? 72% today. Still too high, IMO.

Concept might be worthwhile, but execution fell short....

Good lord the guy made that poor SC into a floating short bus. What's with the beadboard interior, I can't imagine anyone would think that looks good in a boat.

I noticed but that Kijji table/form formatting mucked it all up when I was trying to edit it. Had to exit w out saving and reopen the Mod edit.

It ok now? You can still edit it it you need too.

5800 Canadian Dollar equals 4188.63 US Dollar. Goodness, has the CAD sunk!

I admit to having the same thought. I hope my execution will be a little better if it happens.

It might not have seen any salt water, she's pretty close to Lake Winnipesaukee.

did most of the Mariers come w/ a live well inside the front seat?

On ours the front seat base is lined with plastic. It also has as drain through the deck, but there is no other plumbing. I think most of them were set up for a live well as an option.

Flip Back seats are also used for live wells too.
