Yeah I just went back and checked out the add because I've got a buddy in Florida who could check it out for me. However in the first picture I noticed that the boat and trailer are sitting on another trailer I think because the trailer the boat is sitting on is toast. If you look closely the tongue has either broken off or been cut off. I actually think the remains of the tongue are stuffed under the left front of the boat.

To many problems for me to make a 10 or 11 hour trip just to have the Admiral keelhaul me when I come rolling in with another boat project.

I have really got to figure out what I'm doing with the Stratos!, and the Jeep:facepalm:, and the KZ:facepalm:, and the list is way to long!:juggle:

But it will happen oh yes it will hapen!:heh: Some day.:encouragement:

The trailer might be a tilter with the tongue removed to fit on the flatbed. But the question remains - Why is it on flatbed?

There are two boats and a jeep on the flatbed. Auctions or estate sales would be my guess.

Don't think it is a tilt trailer but the tongue was pulled to make room. The spare is still mounted on the tongue.

An old Jupiter(?) on a jet ski trailer with no windshield. - http://albany.craigslist.org/boa/5432633416.html

This chieftain, $500 and seems like a good project to me. Makes me wish I had a bigger garage n more time. - http://westernmass.craigslist.org/boa/5416482487.html

And one more this a.m. A falcon I think for $450. - https://syracuse.craigslist.org/boa/5417396489.html

Man, a 21' Chieftain outboard! Awesome.

Put a pair of 115s on the back and have some real fun. :D

He's asking $2000 for the trailer and the boat seems to have been gutted before. He sent me more pics and I don't think there's even seats in it. Said the boat and engine are both 1978 but matching images I could find the engine looks like a '72. I don't know much about OB engines so take it for what it's worth.

You're still without a boat? Mariners were your thing or so I thought...

When I first saw it, I thought the same. Zoomed looking to see how the keyhole was filled and noticed the normal transom line.

That green has got to go and from the looks of it about 10 minutes with a pressure washer will improve the looks immensely.

I still have my Lowe 15'

I want to go into deep blue water 20-40 miles off shore for big fish trolling.

I've decided I want a Islander and convert it to CC
Thanks
