Geez, they don't even tell you what color it is....lol

scam on the bumblebee with the 470? Ad in greenville SC still up without pic. Other add is Bham, quite the stretch geographically and it not listed in ATL. I thought it was greenville MS, which would make sense.

the Dallas one reads too crazy for any kind of long distance transaction

Never seen an electric trolling motor mounted quite like this....

That's a pretty good candidate for a resto. Although the 70 hp Evinrude is a tad small for an 18 footer to me, and $700- $800 would be what I'd be willing to pay for a boat like that needing a deck, likely transom, and lower unit work on the outboard.

That's a nice 18ft center console. Out of my price range but nice.

We looked at getting a stern drive mounted trolling motor like this for our Stratos a few years ago. In the end it was to much money for us to spend on a boat that needed rehab. We bought our 16SS and had it back on the water for less than one of those Minkotas cost to move our 20ft Glass Stratos. It's still a probable future purchase though, and they are nice.

That 150hp Mercury is more like it for an 18 footer.

This was posted in the Funny TLC on Craigslist thread, but I thought it might interest someone over here. The alluminium hard top is interesting.

less is more Redneck Joe. The more you put on the more you'll have to sand and the longer you'll have to wait between coats. I'll do four or five light coats over tape but can final sand it with a wet microfiber towel when done. Also use an 11 inch knife after the first coat. Another tip is to tape, then put your next coat on right over the tape. I don't know why, but this technique all but stopped any bubbling of the tape for me. Must have to do with both sides being equally wet. Never cared to find out.

Joe you are really trying to get me keel hauled aren't you!

As much as I want a Chief I believe the Admiral would burry me in another boat if I drag another one home right now

She might beat me to death just for looking at this one online.

I'm so gonna get in trouble for thinking about asking her for permission.

Edit: I just showed her the add. Her response was "Where are you going to get $700". So that's not a no.

Nice find in Huntsville, no WLD on what appears to be a towable trailer, possibly for sub 700?

Dave, wheres the Admiral on a $550 Chief? Please dont tell her I asked. I'd like her to welcome coming back over to Louisville Point in mid-May. Might even bring a recent addition to the boat house ;)

Watermann I reminded the Admiral how nice she thought your Chief turned out when I showed her the ad.

She gave me the look. I'll let her think on it a bit before I remind her she wants someting we can sleep in while anchored overnight.

Really John that would probably be an easier sell to her. Although $700 seems like a good deal on the one Joe posted.

She asked if the V8 in the Stratos could be used. I said maybe.
