I doubt any 1973 18'er is rated at 150hp. Might be an attempt to strengthen the transom.

That's what I was thinking too. But who knows what problems are underneath all that stuff so I'll pass. I have other priorities now anyway.

Interesting and done pretty well, but not sure I like the raised windshield on this SS. [h=2]18 ft Starcraft Aluminum Boat[/h]

Anyone see an important element missing? Amazing what guys will do and not think a thing of it.

Side panels. On the port side hull between the seats - Are those rod holders mounted through the hull?

The W/S is weird!

GA is a winner imo. Also don't see a battery tie down.

Guy must be very tall to see when sitting and driving, or he never sits while driving.

The battery was too obvious, 64. LOL WM?

Maybe the W/S boxes are for tackle? There has to be a good reason for such an ugly set up.

Yeap, ding ding ding side panels are missing and there was plenty else to pick apart for that price.

We have very different ideas of what "Interesting and done pretty well" means..... uuu uuu uuu gly

The AL panels and tubing to raise the windshields looks well done, not being OSB and 2x4's and yeah that made the poor ole SS double ugly, more than I could even imagine. Interesting... in the fact that the guy felt the need to go through all that trouble to create such a nasty look and to what end?
