Yeah the 1 and 2 keys are too close to each other for some people.

Or he meant a 28 footer on an 18 foot trailer. That trailer is short, especially with a walk-in freezer on the back. :watermelon:

Ive promised no more until the house is paid off but man....,

https://nashville.craigslist.org/boa/5154647981.html

$600... sheesh that's unreal. It would be in my driveway already with the plans halfway drawn up to convert her into a SF.

In other words... I would be all over that like white on rice, on a paper plate in a snow storm with a glass of milk!

for my health and well being, thankfully this one has sold....

Yeah I think she needs some work just by looking at that one pic. Funky bow rails? The trailer has rusty lawn mower wheels on it too.

There is one for our member Thebrain. He always says he never can find a Mariner.
this is exactly what I've been looking for
http://cnj.craigslist.org/boa/5123422457.html

however this is a saltwater boat.

looks like the bottom paint has been removed?

I'm actualley negosheateing w/ a unreseanable man about a 83 MR22 w/ a early 90s 175

he claims boat has never been in saltwater his asking price is a tad more than this
MR22 however he wont take it off the market w/ a 1/3 deposit, he wants $2K
for a deposit. I won't drive 1K miles then find he sold it yesterday. and won't deposit more than $1K

plus $2K isn't a deposit that buying sight unsean.

think I'll look into this MR22. I really like the extended bow rail and the cup holder.

doe's a 1997 era rude have a computer?
Thanks

salt is your enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rivets pop while you look at them!!! ha ha...... I bought an eastern NC 22 ft V5 holiday , and I replaced well over 150 rivets.... and when I flipped the boat for painting, 6 more popped that looked fine!!!....buyer beware is the name of the game..... but they value in that rig is the motor...IF it isn't all corroded up!!

I think he's off on the year by at least a decade. What year did the sides become stepped on the Islander? And what years were the V5 hulls in production?
If life were bit different...and I had a big outboard sitting around...

yeah the V5 's didn't come out until 1978, and by the late 80's they had stopped calling them V5's and the extra chine didn't go all the way to the bow...but they had all the other features of the V5s. I think they just called them V's...like 221 V, 261 V 220 V ect...they had the wider beams and deeper hull and you could slap a 240 hp on them!! this islander is probably early 80's( OR its a Holiday, turned, Islander....ha ha, like another member found!!!)
