Anti-fouling paint thats labeled aluminum safe is ok, IIRC, its the copper thats in many ablative types of anti-fouling paint thats the problem.

IMO the bigger problem is a half done aluminum boat thats likely seen saltwater use, and now has a thick heavy bottom paint on it.



Funny, the first thing I thought was Id hate to have to strip that that bottom stuff off!

I take it thats a good thing. If it was winter, and I had already done the one - I'd be on it. I've convinced the wife that there will be more. In fact I'll need to go visit my shop there in a month or two. I'll have to keep an eye out.



Anyway hope yall enjoy my hotel time posting. Pretty boring out here on the west coast tonight.
