Looks like someone is throwing in the towel on a Mariner in WI. Pretty proud of it though with the asking price: http://madison.craigslist.org/boa/4769501310.html
You had my hopes up there for a second, but alas no - that's a 3200 km round trip from me. This boat has been up for sale for most of the summer without pics. 3200 kms is a little too far to drive for a trailer that....might....be good if new wheels were put on it. I am still looking though,
pretty, and some resto done but pretty high $
It has a great running evinrude 85hp 1972 model electric shift. I
interesting this guy lists out doing transoms specifically Starcraft. Wonder if he comes here to learn?
ALUMINUM BOATS FOR SALE FROM 300.00 ON UP.SEVERAL TO CHOOSE FROM.WE DO FLOOR AND TRANSOM REPAIRS AT REASONABLE PRICES. AVERAGE TRANSOM REPAIR ON ALUMINUM 16TO 18 FT STARCRAFT 400.00 INCLUDING MATERIALS .FLOORS IN THE 600.00 RANGE INCUDING WOOD AND CARPET.
Read a bit on that "plytanium" it's OSB with some wood veneer layers on each outer side. Wouldn't be my choice of ply to use.
