Here's a well priced Islander in Toledo.

Pfffft knee brace smee brace... By the looks of the rotted out interior and holes punched through the transom for rigging, I would think not.

Found exactly what I'm looking for and within a few hours drive too. 1978 18' SS with 1992 115 Hp Rude OB on a galvanized trailer. The price for a total gut job is right in line for PNW tin with that motor even with it needing TNT work.

So I checked out the photos and it looked good, then I notice the odd line from the front end of the spray rail that goes up to the rubrail. Blow the pic up and it looks like a riveted seam??? What do you guys think?

I'd ask for pix of the starboard side, see if there's a seam there too. Clearly theres been some owner mods. Or is that a factory storage bin under the b2b seat?

that's definitely a seam AND it also goes forward... that's a big triangular patch

My monitor is a 47" lcd so I got a good look

That boot stripe is spray bombed and the pin striping on the patch doesn't match the rest of the boat

Yuck - big patch. Not worth the restoration. For less than half that you can get a better boat.
