Um, roller trailer on that set up? Or do we just back the truck down far enough to float it off:eek:

You didn't see the crane on the tow/boat toter vehicle?

Somewhere on the net I saw a set up similar, It had hydraulic rams and used moveable ramps like those on a car-haul semi,...

Just winch the boat trailer on and lift the whole works to level it off,...

I used to haul cars and still have my 10 car hauler waiting for me to scrap it,..

I've thought about building a set up like that to haul two boats to Canada with one tow rig to save fuel,..

Fellow got back to me, he is pretty firm on his price and with the Canadian dollar where it's at $2500 U.S. is $3000. Cdn, plus and 800 mile trip.:grumpy:

You can't let the empty spot in shop stay vacant. It gets dusty and other non-tin stuff starts to take over.

Last year the Canadian dollar was stronger against the USD, almost one for one. Now with $1 USD = $1.12 CDN = sucky for cross border tin exchange. :blue:

Bummer. I really want to see what you'd do with a cabin boat.

I here ya John, it's going to be hard for us now. In Sk we get a $3000. exemption anything over that we pay PST on, but like you the Gst gets us hard plus exchange.

EBay item 301123068556 looks like a 24' or 25' Chief. Doesn't say. And in CA with a starting bid of $1000 with an unknown reserve

Ad says 21', you had me all excited. I am still in search of a 25-26.
Wife and I are tentatively planning a midwest trip in 2-3 years, thinking I might have to try and find one while on vacation.
Or I am going to build a 25' Jumbo Toleman.

^^^ or perhaps painting the O/B was the Admiral's responsibility and she has a soft-spot for waterfowl

I wonder how many coats of primer it would take to cover that carp up I really don't like camo boats.

Ya I saw that 26' in Pux. (Taz...) but 6k is a little steep as a starting point. I have only about $4500 right now but am adding to that as I can. That would be a really nice start if it water tested well.
