I/O converted to outboard? That transom opening for the motor is very narrow compared to the OB Holidays I have seen so far...or is it an age thing?

i bet the Taz nonsense on that 26 is just vinyl that could be peeled off. problem is, seems everyone with a 26' knows how comparatively rare they are and prices em accordingly.

#2 Buy nasty glasser with good engine for $1K, total $6K invested (throw glasser away)

#3 Swipe ETEC for Sea Nymph project and bolt donor engine on nice old Starcraft, sell for $4K (well probably get like $3K)

Result? ETEC had for $3K about? That's not so bad!:becky:

Kinda risky and a bunch of work though.

Hmmmm... thats a nice one..< I think that could be worth the ride up that way if it's nice instead of the deal I working on now for a new ETEC and the boat looks nicer too.. and all for less money... EMAIL ENGAGED!

Im glad you stepped in and rescued Jason SMG battery placement discussions would never be the same without him. I am pretty sure he would have just disapoeared after a stunt like that.

The admiral now just rolls her eyes at me when I say I bought a boat. Ive got the green light at 500 or less at $7500 I am pretty sure I would be permenantly neutered

i can't say much....i STILL haven't had the guts to tell the Boss about the kayak i bought for HER.........

and Jason and i are racing on boat completion.......hopefully, we'll be vying for SOTY, in 2020 or so.....
