i think he's just using the term generically, like coke or Xerox or Heliarc gets used, since Starcrafts are clearly the gold standard in tin boats...but i agree, that's definitely a LS in pic

Yah a little, for us who live in the land bottom feeders anyway. But, with that late model Merc on the back, I tend to think that's not so bad ya know.

yeah, that looks like it's a 4 stroke so at the asking price he's throwing in the boat for around $600.

1965 STARCRAFT 16FT ALUMINUM BOAT

Close to me, going to take a look. Talked with the seller this AM and it seems he wants to just get it off his property, to many boats. I'm interested in the 40 hp Evinrude for my Wagemaker. If it's an electric shift, I'll pass.

Hell, the guy never showed up (at his own house by the way). It wasn't even aluminum it was a fiberglass hull that looked like aluminum and it was a Lark VII to boot. No thank you.
