Hey Jim - Could you fit that interior in your Jet?
I think he misunderstood the question & matched the Burger Yacht's stateroom in his GARAGE :

One of you guys should buy that immediately.

It's been listed for over a week. Hmmm, whats wrong with it?

a 1971 120 w/Alpha?

Nope, I'm done with i/o's unless I get my Chieftain or a new Chap.

I have seen that one listed for a while. Man ol Bob took great care of that SS!

Worth it? Yah, I kinda think so. $3K for a water ready, turn key, ready to go boat, yup.

That was for sale last year. ++1 to all that Jas said. Nice post dj.

Splash ready Starcrafts are :cool-new:

Just means a 1971 120 engine with an updated outdrive. An Alpha 1 will replace the old 120 outdrive.
I would say that's an upgrade.

Anyone know how much shipping costs would be? That is the perfect repower for my pontoon. Not to mention an offshore hull to boot 10 years ago I would have made the 700 mile drive not anymore.

I mumbled a few expletives when I saw this ad.

One word of caution is that this boat/motor likely saw alot of saltwater.

Not worried about it we are going to repower with a 90 that we found locally for a fair price. I am going to finish the starcraft then go back to the 70 at the end of summer repair it over the winter then when spring/ income tax time gets here I am going to resell the 70 to recoup 95% of the cost and come out with a power upgrade. I've always found that income tax time is the perfect time to sell stuff and winter is the perfect time to buy stuff.

18' Mariner wannabe with a 120Hp mercruiser I/O for $1200. (Beacon, NY)

I thought it was an Islander at 1st because of the bow-hatch but I don't see an 18' Islander offered in the brochures. Maybe they underestimated this boat's length?? Definitely was not born as a CC.
