Twins are always better than singles. Dual 70's would move right out just fine.

Yah, top speed might not be very impressive but I'd think power at the low end would be just fine. Man, that might be the way to go on that Islander. Plenty of those 70 hp OMC's out there to match up. I'd think that would be a sweet ride set up like that:becky:

You'd think a single 140hp weighs a lot less than the twin 70's...Its just doesnt have the cool factor like twins do..lol..

Don't know about original, but real clean for sure. King Kong must be the pilot - The helm lounge is pretty far back from the wheel.

She's probably still around because of the "tank" part of SC's name back then. She's sure built like one.

"Will consider offer to include the 1959 Johnson 7.5 motor that is shown on the boat." Very generous of the seller to think about throwing in the Johnson. Pay over $4900 to get the motor? :faint2:
