Ok, you piqued my curiosity....does that 2d one look a lot like a Nova to anyone else? is a sunbird a smaller version?

Yes, that one looks pretty nice and the price isn't that bad either.

I think the Sunbird is the mini version of the Nova. Sorta like the Opel GT was a mini Stingray Vette.

1973 25' Chieftan

also $3500 however this one appears to be on the proper trailer :)

I sent the link to this one to my dad and asked him to buy it for me :D His response:

Not sure I can afford to buy you the kicker let alone the entire boat, but hold your breath and cross your fingers. Your birthday's just around the corner.

Oh goodie, I can't wait! :p:p:p

My dad tells me I need to sell my boats and buy things for the house.
He would support me if I flat out fixed and sold these things tho

Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

someone should extend him an invitation if he isn't a member of the mob already!
fav line: "The only reason I am selling is that I have 2 other project boats closer to completion and the wife is b**chin about my unfinished projects so I have to pick my battles. "
Not in the mob, using 1/2" ply for the transom & sandwiching the pitted aluminum between the inside & outside pieces of plywood. And 1/2" ply for the deck on an 18ft'r missing it's aluminum stringers seems insufficient....
I like the part about the perfect project for a couple weekends. Yeah
Maybe if boatnut or Jas grabs it..... Maybe
That guy would fit in perfect here.
Agreed.....

I like the 'The good: I have all the aluminum pieces and parts to put her back together (not the wood)'

The in the same paragraph: I have the old wood saved for templates where the contours are not just straight lines. But maybe he didn't keep all the trim panels, splashwell doors & etc but did keep the deck pieces

But gutted w/out a motor, $750 sounds high. Since mine was a bit rough, but intact, on a rolling trailer (NOT galv, or quite as nice looking) but was $250 w/ motor:

With the different color on the bow cover and some gunky looking stuff I wonder if they had glued down carpeting or maybe even astroturf so you could feel like you were bank fishing.
Well worth the asking price, although the motor looks small and old. The bow mounted fishing seat is interesting.
