I noticed that too, JB. I think the difference is the two for sale are 22s and 64s is a 21. The 22s might have a higher sides. Don't know.

The one we're working on here (is a Chieftain, going to be a CC) we measured to be a 22' and has the low transom.

I have to offset B2's fouling of the Starcraft waters with a REAL tin boat. :lol:

A big Islander I/O for $1500 in Tenn. A project for sure.

wow thought i was good, you guys are master starcraft hunters! Whatever that craigslist change was prevents my mobile app from parsing the ads properly now. The app i like is no longer updated either. I can follow the links though.

the new adhunter sucks as well..maybe times they just give you the page for where a boat is listed..like cleveland , BOATS, then it pops up with ALL the listing in BOATS,, and you ahve to go look for it!!

a few months ago the search all craigslist went south, plugging in 80 Noodle ads...over and over....it basically is useless now.

as soon as a decent search engine shows up to look over craigslist, a few months later they ruin it

Search Tempest, guys. Works like a champ and you can use all kinds of criteria to filter results. Smart phones are used after you find a boat to call or text. Besides phone pics are too small. :lol:

I really like the android app: CraigsNotifications, version 3.28

I use the free version, it lets me do a mile radius search based on my zipcode, add or delete any CL cities I choose, set a price range & which CL catagory to search w/ whatever my search terms I choose......

Every now & then I accidentally hit the ad bar, but I just hit the back button & the internet window closes before it even loads the ad. Otherwise, I'm happy w/ the free version. No idea what the Pro version offers.

Currently, I have 7 search-bots (some not SC or boat related :facepalm:) & no trouble w/ my battery life thru the day.

Looking at the pics, it doesn't look like a new floor or raw ply was used a long time ago and never covered. Looks more like it was used a Dempsey Dumpster.

I only use my smart phone, both for CL and on here. I have just a regular cl app...I just search nearby areas 8-10 times a day :) a beautiful Feathercraft was posted today in Detroit... ah, barrel backs ;)

yes that's the one I like too! I think its actually called "CraigsNotifica" 3.28 its no longer available on the android market. It still works, but now most of the ads just show the picture with no info for me, I then follow the link to the real ad where I read it. I dont like the other CL apps.

I also have found a few starcrafts just searching the word "aluminum", like this, although the guy says its not a starcraft...but he doesn't know what it is. Told me it was reserved for someone when I called.boatForSale.jpg

Tempest and the others are still not showing me anything newer than March 1st.
Don't have a smart phone, so no apps here.


I've been using this on now.
Search Craigslist by state and More.

I don't think it all works as planned, BUT....

Do your search, then click on the city names in the green tinted box near the top center of the page.
It will take you to the cl city listing, but it will only show the items with your search terms.

Not perfect, but saves a lot of time.
