1981 StarCraft 25' Great Shape!!!

25' islander. OMC but galvanized trailer and down riggers

I'm not sure my minion's available any earlier, but I could check this SC out for you in mid-June :high5:

I'll be 25min N of Myrtle Beach for 9days in June...............

Never been in saltwater?? The CL ad geo-locates it at a marina at the intercostal water way.... Brackish for sure, not really NOT saltwater... And isn't $4K high for an OMC & stinger outdrive (even working)???

This came up earlier today too:

If the Islander has been put in on the ICW, it has been in salt. Especially right off the inlet. Is it just me, but I can't remember curved W/S (upper or lower) glass in an Islander?

The Starchief looks like a good, worthy project.

I don't think that is the original upholstery. More like Barcaloungers. Nice SS.

It is actually.

Actually Barcalounger or original? Never mind - I looked in the brochures. '78 is too new for me. I'm used to the flatter seats, not the button tuft. It is well kept, for sure.

That 16 SS is beautiful. I think the asking price is a little steep.

I just went and looked at the yellow 22' SS from a couple pages ago. It has sat for 2 years and the seller refused to start the engine not wanting to "suck any junk into the engine" and the key ignition was broken so I could not even turn it over. The power TnT worked. The yellow was a hole done job... poorly. The trailer looked wide enough, but the wheels were only 8". On the positive side, the deck wood and transom were solid though the deck was just painted. He went down to $2000 but nothing less. I walked away.. what do y'all think?

73 - Is that the one on the narrow looking trailer and Rude 100? Was the motor free or stuck? "suck any junk into the engine" - That's a new one. Do you know what year she is?

Supposedly the hull is a 76 and the engine is a 79. Yep, the narrow trailer one. I don't know about the engine as he wo led not/ could not start it.bye had the tank out and had cleaned it supposedly... lots of red flags in my mind... I expressed some and his answer was "trust me"... yeah

He should have let you turn or try to turn the motor by hand. It probably goes about 75 mph, pulls 27 skiers and only uses a quart of gas per weekend too.:facepalm: I would be leery as well.

Chief - Good call on the walk away. The seller must not to sell it, or he's looking for a sucker.

Iowa boat looks reasonable. Should fit your trailer nicely.

Looks to be a better project than the Horrocraft.

But will you still be looking for a 21'er?

Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

I just called on the Long Island one 64, its $1500 for the hull only the 2001 trailer is an extra $400. Transoms rotten, he had no idea about the details k. Very difficult to understand as well.. I am thinking that the hull probably isn't worth the $1500 + $500 in diesel.. what do y'all think?
