I hear ya! Looks like I am on a two boat plan my self. I am really in need of a 16' SS in great shape with a sweet Johnson on the back - think I can find one for $100?

Not sure how to put CL links here, but there's a FREE 18' Starcraft on the Pittsburgh area CL! Obviously needs restored but says the motor runs.

Nice rig that 16' SS:)

Here's one in Michigan that doesn't need any work for a pretty good price.

I really like the hatches on the front of the consoles. Never thought of that, or seen it on a Starcraft for that matter. I wonder if it's factory?

doesnt say glass or tin...No pics...but if it has a V8 (not an iron duke..I hate that saying..WTF people!???) parts and trailer, windshield...theres a lot of $$ to be made from her Id assume..I do assume glass with a V8 motor in her

Yes, the raised the decking SUBSTAINTIALLY to have the deck like that..
Pretty sure the old one is under there somewhere..I'd gut it..


Seems like they are leading the ad with a 20 year old motor, that they claim is 95% of the value of what their asking price is...

I would say $1,100 would be fair, with all the work you have to do to fix their bass turdization lol

My 16' SS had a raised bow deck with a predestal when I bought it.

The first thing I did was rip it out and got it back to factory U-shaped benches. I have two kids that love to lean over the sides of the boat and ride in the bow so it was useless to me.

I also don't really target bass very often, I'd rather troll personally.

That OB is worth some cash, but not 1k. The yellow doesn't seem factory to me, more of a canary yellow than my goldenrod.
