Yup, I'm thinking sub $500 range would win that Jup, go for it!

Not sure just what went down, but when I called last night to double check the time to be there, he told me someone else was coming first. Oh well, kinda disappointed on this one. Guess I will keep looking. Really wanted this one, but family Christmas kept me from going yesterday.

Don't give it it up yet. Someone coming over first and someone buying are two different things. Call back!

Certainly a worthy candidate with the right starting price.

You're looking at a total I/O transplant EZ. Not for the faint of heart (aka first timer). I got an I/O for my first, thankfully I steered clear of OMC and got a Mercruiser. If I had it to do over again, I'd go outboard 16 footer. Then work my way up to the 18' I/O. Just being honest here.

Yeah I'm aware of that, but it's a super nice (and complete) hull which I think is well worth the $500. Obviously a Mercruiser donor boat would be needed.

Or, if it struck the builder just right, spose you could cut the transom and maker er an OB:)

I can't get the vision of an OB bracket on that hull though.

If this doesnt make you sick

On the bright side maybe some parts

But the only parts are the 120/stern drive. He doesn't say anything about the boat and hard to tell by the stern pic. He screwed up. $400 for a complete M/C and boat is worth more complete. I hope he isn't thinking real big bucks for scrap if it is a tinny.
