Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

Anyone out there close to this one to take a look at it for me? Would that O/B be electric shift?
Glen

I looked on Evinrude's Web site and didn't see any 120 hp motors listed for the early 70's (115 + 125s). Hard to say if it's electric shift without year as EZ said.

That adds to the mystery cuz it's definitely an early 70's cowl.

Thanks guys, I can't find anything on the motor either, I was hoping there was a Starmada member in the area to check it out, as it would be a long haul from here for a look see.

Totally rebuilt! Now how the heck did that happen without iboats!

The guys in Michigan too. How did we let him get away Jas, Mike, Yoop, Cbgale? I figured we had the whole state covered. Must be a small hole in our net somewhere.

Just got a beat on a local 19' aluminum cuddy 1974 with a roadworthy trailer and 135hp Rude and tossin in a 85hp Rude.

Not a Star, but a brand name, and still in business, similar to Islander/Chief

$500 for all

Not sure if I want to do a cabin, probably would make it into a Pro V type SC and pitch the top.

Engines haven't been started for 10 seasons, but flywheels move, and owner says both ran great until they became orphans to newer family boats. Floor pulled partially, they gave up, state transom is solid? Saw pictures, would be a great project, probably sell off the 85hp and start from there, but unsure. Owner states no hull dents, dings, creases or breaches.

Waiting to hear back on a 22' V5 hull also.

Sweet ride there!

OK guys I went and looked at this. I am looking for a large starcraft for erie but a trailerable one, thats another topic. This thing is big and it pretty darn good shape. The guy is the second owner and a real nice guy.. Nothing really to fix but minor items the cabin is pretty good for the year. Recover the cushions and some trim on the cabinets and it would be sweet. Floors solid. Didnt get to the transom but for this price its a steal.. The trailer is probably is the only thing that really needs attention.. Its water ready.. He said the only thing that didnt work right is the fuel gage.. He has an electronic distributor for it but never installed it.. I almost considered it to convert to a center console but it would be a waste of a good Cheiftan.. He let me look at it first and told me he had another guy waiting with cash.. Wont last long Im sure.
