Re: Splash of the Year Time!!!!

STARMADA!! I endevour to end my lameness and lack of follow up TODAY!!!
The POLL will have TEN (max) contestants!!
Hopeshefloats 61 Holiday
wrtpacas 57 ski champ
cbgale falcon
TGP Nassau
EZ's SS
Sprints Holiday
veilside 18 SS
Bunkers SS
Lakelover Jetstar
SC65 Holiday

I think that is ten and the one most mentioned above:

One question - how do I post pics from other peoples threads?

I'm not sure you can directly. I copied them to my hard drive, and then to PhotoBucket, then posted them.

Vielside 180sx Total restored aditional Things for use and the craftsmanship involved. All are excellent some more so. I did a SS 16 ft but can not get the pics to work for me and besides as well as it looks it cant compare to Veilsides boat and he useses it all the time and it works.

I appreciate the kind words PS.

I'll vote for TPG's Nassau

Whomever did the original post should add a poll to make it easier to tally up the votes.

if it were purely on aesthetics, i'd say TPG. but when function comes in, and craftsmanship of a level beyond paint n woodwork, i gotta vote for Veilside's boat too.

I think it's interesting the way each of us sees the variety of boats. Sort of like fine art, eh. We all appreciate different stuff for different reasons. Really, very interesting:)

Is there a max of 10 on a pole? We can't forget Jason's Jet!
I'm partial to Black boats with evil looking mercs and blue mini chiefs but they all look great. Its going to be a tough call.

Jason has declined to enter this years awards. Due to the fact that his boat is not finished yet. So no we didn't forget im. I'm sure someone got left out, I tried to remember everyone though.

If you want to copy someone else's pictures from their thread...right click the picture and select "copy image address". Take the image address and put it in IMG tags. There is no reason to need to re-host an already hosted pic.=)

Due to my serious lack of time involved with this forum, I refuse to vote. But, I have read, and appreciate very much, the knowledge gained from each and every member that is ivolved with each and every one of these boats! I love them all! Glass, Tinn, whatever, I have learned so much from all of you! Thank you! After only two months of reading, learning, self education, I honestly believe the next boat I purchase will be......in need of serious help, and cheap! Ha Ha! I know where to go for help! All of the above get my vote!

YZ - You gotta vote man. Your input is just as valued as any other. Sounds like you got the bug. There is no turning back now. If it wasn't for these guys here I would have never jumped into another resto. It really is a great place and great people!

Can someone make a web site to clearly post pics and names of the contenders? Then we can vote on a pole on this site.

Sorry Guys been dry docked for a lonf time now..... I'm truely honored to have been chosen for Splash of the Year.

Again, I appologize, for not not checking in sooner. But life gets in the way sometimes.

Thank You again for this great honor. I hope to find more time soon to update my threads.

OK - In true Starmada fashion - NB went off the radar, then came back on and returned the plaque - then TGP won and HE went of the radar - then came back on - then I got the plaque and forgot it was at the trophy guy - all that being said - feast your eyes on the update:

TGP will walk taller, catch bigger fish, and be exempt from bad bearings on his trailer for the next time period.

TGP - the box is in the mail!!
