Man, I am getting SICK of getting these tickets. They are everywhere in Baltimore. Nothing to do with safety, purely revenue generators.

I know, I know, don't speed or run red lights(yeah right with their super brief yellow lights) I just keep up with traffic.
I got probably my 10th one for the year today. I run my business and invest in Baltimore, you'd think they'd be happy with the outrageous property taxes they charge me/
Oh well, just venting.

Here's a video of my latest, I am the blue dodge ram.

I wish a similar move was underfoot here, but at the rate they are installing them here, I think they are making great money.
I'm not paying the tickets, they aren't summons or anything. I'll see what happens when I have to do my trucks registration.

I am going to go out tomorrow and slam a handful of mud on my rear tag.

That particular violation was for speeding, they don't need to show a light for that. I wonder if the other people doing the same speed as me got tickets.

You have 10 in one year? I think my license would have been suspended if I got that many in California. 4 points in a 12 month span is all we get. My insurance would probably cancel me too!

As much as I agree with, you would think (after 10 tickets) you would just slow down a little and stop at the red lights?!?

I have been in the public protection sector over half my life and I see both sides of the argument, although there's not much in the argument of "pro-speeding". Lay low for a while before :

A) the man takes your license for a while over excessive points or habitual offender...or

B) the little woman knocks your block off!!

Best of luck with either!

These are civil offenses, and you can NOT get points or insurance increases from them.
Everyone I work with gets them all the time, and my aunt has me beat, she got 12 this year.

The man won't take a damn thing, but the wife, I better worry about.

I am going slower than 75% of the traffic, and the yellow lights are so fast on these redlight cams, that if you slam your brakes on you will get rear ended. I have had people on my *** in red light tickets I have received. Again, it's not a safety issue at all.

If Cali can assess points for a camera ticket, I would be moving, as there is no proof of WHO was driving, what a screwed up state!

Actually, I don't know that for sure since I never got one. I just know that you get one point for every moving violation.

I'd check, it says right on the bottom of the photo citation no points can be assigned nor will it cause insurance rates to rise. There are many in and around Baltimore raising hell, and now they even have portable speed cameras in construction zones, where there is no construction!

They "broomed" them here in Arizona.

A few municipalaties still have them. Mesa, Scottsdale.

I'm not a law breaker but do everything I can to avoid those cities.

I really didn't have much of an issue with them.

However. They are unforgiving. At one time, I-10 through PHX had five different speed zones. Guess where the cameras were?

The City of Mesa has been accused (results TBA) for "tweaking" the left turn signals to catch violators.

IMHO, there is definetely something odd about the stop lights in Mesa. They do not act anything like any other stop lights throughout the metro area.

Sk, I don't want to get all preachy and everything, but man, you gotta be careful. If you ever hurt anybody by accident, well, you'd probably feel really terrible. You need to be having fun with your family out in your boat - not banged up in some hospital. :) Ok, no more preaching.
