I was thrilled to see USA beat Russia, but I agree, it will never have the same feeling as it did in 1980, that was a special game, that will never be repeated.

GF's gardener started a curling team a few miles away from us. I may be curling after all. She is going to call him so we can try it out.

I think Canada is up against Finland tomorrow at 12:00 EST...which is 9:00 out here on the Left Coast....if anyone has any info to the contrary by all means post it up.
I watched that game/shoot out....wow, they just kept cycling TJ....well, stick with what works!! Do you guys remember that World Juniors shoot out with Canada and the U.S? ...we just kept cycling Jonathan Toews through and he nailed it.
Great job by Oshie!!....I was kind of surprised that Ovechkin wasn't out there and also that Datysuk didn't get a little trickier...according to just about every Pro Player out there, he is about the highest skills hand on the ice and the king of 'the dangle' when he decides to be....check this quick video of his shootouts...unbelievable...but he didn't amp it up today:

See that clown from Russia who said, "If the Russians don't win gold in hockey, none of the other medals matter". I hope he's just talking about hockey medals, but he comes across as any medal for any Russian......

Yeah, getting a little ugly there....but they are all working their way towards freedom and independence so they are on the right road.
I sure wouldn't want to be confronting the opposition leader in the street tho', he is egging some of this on,......you guys probably remember Klitschko right?....one tough dude as a few American heavy weight fighters found out...LOL.:lol:

Is it me, or, do they hardly show the medal ceremonies? Seems to me they used to show them all the time. Just an observation.....
