Others have been getting it alot longer than us, so how bad is it where you are?

It just started here in Northern Indiana at 3 p.m. and is already nasty, they are saying 20'' and I hope they are wrong, geuss I picked a good year to get a snow bower eh.

I don't think Bennington will be making any boats tomorro, I have guys that come in from as far as 45 miles away and I would hate to see them try it, at least we aren't starting until 8 a.m. if we go in which would really suprise me.

Not much snow here in Dallas. Just lot's and lots of ice. Well over an inch on the road, frozen solid ice and sleet. Lovely! :facepalm:

Here in Burlington (actually Kansasville) we cannot see across the yard. 35 to 50 mile an hour wind gusts, blizzard conditions. To nasty to go out to the pole barn to switch over stuff to the new to the new tinny! We have a foot on the ground and another foot plus coming.

We got hosed in Colorado again, a dusting of snow but the temps are in the -teens and -twenties.....including the highs brbbrrrbrrrrrbrrbrrrrr

Im about 80miles south of goshen IN lots of ice and 40mph winds. I would not mind if I didnt haft to go to work tonite.

It's blowing pretty bad (40-50mph) up here (Milwaukee area). We got about 5 inches this morning and are looking at another 12 or so for totals in the high teens to low 20's. Schools are already cancelled for tomorrow along with the Universities.

You aren't going to get 20" in northern IN, just as we aren't getting that much here in Peoria, despite the predictions. However, the BLOWING AND DRIFTING of the snow is horrible! The Thundersnow event earlier was a nice touch, though.

We'll have to wait and see. It stated snowing at 7:30 PM. Forecast totals are anywhere from 8" to 15". Its a real fine snow right now not much accumulation. It is coming down hard. Let it snow.

Its all about 80 miles south of me.
Clear cold and "breezy" is on the menu.


Sister and nephew got 8 inches yesterday, more lake effect this morning, then are only to get 6 inches from the big storm tonight, they are 25 miles N of Milwaukee, in Port Washington.

Watching Weather Channel a little bit ago, they said Chicago is having 50 mph wind with gusts to 70. Lake Shore drinve closed, mostly plugged up with cars.

Looks like about a foot or so here and still coming down hard.

It quit here about 9-10, hard to say how much we got, I do have some 3' drifts in the yard and it seems like it is sort of misting now.

No boats at Bennington today which is okay I geuss but now I have to work Saturday again, 4th in a row, but at least I get my hours, gotta run the show boats ya know.

As per normal it was bad but not as bad as they said, the blowing was pretty nasty.

Does not look like we got as much as predicted here. Seemed to stop around midnight and is not snowing now. My newspaper has just been delivered by snowmobile !!!

Mid MI here, and we've already got 13" and are still being pounded. The drifts that are forming may prove to be too much for my quad to plow.:facepalm:

I agree, Ace. Just so much drifting, it's hard to tell. I do have a friend, in Morton coincidently, that says it drifted SO BAD, she actually has exposed grass in her yard!

My truck was encased in 3/4" ice. Had to do surgery on the door for 40 min to get in and start warming her up. Another half hour before the ice began to soften so I could start removing the glacier. Started at 0430 and arrived on campus 0715. Normally a 45 min ride.
