SL262 Passenger Seat - what is this button?

Hi all
Recently purchased a 2008 SL262. Trying to work out what this button is for under the seat base. Any ideas? I can not see anything about it in the user manual from FW.

Wobbly Chairs - Garelick Commander 15"
