Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, just stumbled upon this forum seems to be some good info on here and some passionate lund owner's so I figured I would show mine off as well. I picked up this 99 ProSport 1600 Adventure two or three years ago now, and absolutely love it, it has a 2000 Yamaha F100 four stroke engine and I just purchase a stainless prop for it, waiting for it to show up and get the boat back in the water!

Here is my work in progress. It's a '76 Lund VFR 17.5ft. So far, all the work has gone into the trailer and mounting the motor. Pedestal seats, bow mounted trolling motor, and livewell are all being planned.

This isn't my first Lund. That was a '75 Pike that I had set up pretty nice.

Wow! Those are some nice looking lunds, and all the work on the trailer definetly has paid off the thing looks brand new, and the lund doesn't look to shabby either, especially with the Yami sitting at the back. Can't wait to see some pics as you progress on '76 VFR, I'm sure its going to look sweet when your done with it.

Here you go, I just got her wet for the first time yesterday. She is a 2010 1800 lund Sport Angler, 150hp etec and a 9.9 Yamaha Kicker. 2- 1101 Scotty electric down riggers. Lowrance HDS7 GPS/Fish finder, Minn Kota 3 bank battery charger.I Love the space in this boat. I was very impressed wtih the way this boat handled. Got her up to 42mph at Wot @5500Rpm with a full gas tank, all the fishing gear and 2 healthy guys. Headed out for a week of fishing. I will report after I get back.

Gota love all the great feedback you get at the docks on how nice these lunds are.

I have a 2006 Classic 1660 with a 50 hp Mercury 2 stroke. Tops out at 33 mph on the GPS. I waited a very long time and have been very pleased with the quality and ride of Lund. Picture should be attached now.

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I bought it from a friend of mine who bought it new in 04. He hardly used it and was meticulous about taking care of it. I paid $19,000. A new one set up with the same motors etc will run about $34,000. You can find used Fishermans with 115hps for about $15,000 - $17,000. I wasn't afraid to pay a little more for the bigger motor plus kicker and the confidence in knowing it was extremely well taken care of. It's a GREAT rig.

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well guys, it's time to move on. I (sadly) sold my 2002 Mr. Pike last week. There was nothing wrong with it, and was in amazing condition. Got what I paid for it in 2006. A great offer came up that I couldn't refuse. Sad to see it go..

Last pic of her at the marina before the buyer picks it up:

Moving on to a Skeeter so I can compete in bass tourny's. I already miss that boat...feels like an old friend moved away. :(
