Here is the drawing. The gasket that need to replace is item 29. The plate is 28. The collar 21 is not getting out.

Seeing the drawing my self, there is something that just don't make sense. Will send a picture of the real thing probably tonight.
Thanks.

Re: Replacing impeler

Got that, thanks. This is the picture after taken out the impeller (in pieces) What does not make sense is that the part marked with an X was inside the impeller. How do i get it into the new impeller? (grease, force...?) I do not see this part (X) in the break down.

Re: Replacing impeler

that looks like part of the old impeller and should have come off with it.
The new impeller has that piece molded in.

Re: Replacing impeler

wait a minute... you need to take off the collar and spacers to get that off.
remove parts 21, 18, 19, 20, 19.
to remove part 21, tap with a chisel upwards. take note of the order of spacers.

Re: Replacing impeler

do a forum search here, I have posted the complete, step by step, bolt by bolt procedure.
its for a V4 but all V4 and V6 two strokes from 95 to about 2005 used the same procedure.
at least it will help keep you from asking how to get out the impeller drive key
