I have a 1982 19ft Seaswirl and the floor and the stringers the motor and gimble mounts too are rotten. I have torn out the floor and old rotten stringers (I call these pieces of wood stingers but not sure if that is the correct terminology for these two beams of wood). What would be the best wood or other product to replace these beams?

Stringers is the proper term...
If you have time- search through this forum. There are endless threads on here addressing exactly what you are doing. Most of these include pictures which also help in the rebuild process.
As for the wood- I have seen transom ply as ACX (high exterior grade) BC(decent exterior grade) and Marine Ply which I have heard that it is not all it is cracked up to be. As long as it is a well made piece of ply and it is glassed well-it should last a good 25 years.
I cant help you with the stringers-i have yet to investigate them becasue I am using a pourable compound for my transom and stringers which is something that may be worth looking into.
Good Luck!!
