Re: regency 22ft pontoon with 115 hp motor speed
How can you sell a boat and not know what it will do on the water?
Lots and lots of variables. Wind, water conditions, load, load distribution, condition of the logs and certainly other items I can't think of.
For example, we were out yesterday and I had to push the throttle up a touch after I turned into the wind in the NW zone.
I'm still breaking in our 90HP Merc 4 stroke, WOT is between 5K and 6K. On the GPS we were doing 23 into a brisk wind, bimini open, 690 pounds of passengers + gear, + 3/4 tank of gas, about 30 gallons. DW and her buddy were on the front couches, I had it opened up only to 5.4K rpm, probably had a little more in it.
