I have a 1994 bass tracker tx 17. I am wanting to replace the carpet and I was wondering how much, recarpeting a boat like this, usually runs for? Thanks.

Depends.

Marine carpet can range from $10 a foot to $20 a foot in 6 or 8 foot widths depending on what you go with. West Marine is a good place to start, but buying marine carpet online is always cheaper and will save you (That is if you don't get hit with shipping).

You next will need carpet adhesive, which can range from $10-20 per quart. For a 20 foot boat I would recommend 2-3 quarts.

I would expect to spend around $200 depending on what you buy. Also you can save alot on materials if you know where you are going to put the seams at.

17'? $200.00 is a very conservative estimate, but if you're not doing the insides of the storage compartments you may be close.

I got mine from Home Depot's web site. Lancer brand. I'm very pleased with it along with their Roberts 6700 adhesive.
