Those closed roads sign are for everyone else. Seems some think they can easily navigate such waters and plow on...until their engines stop. Than the sign means something!
Yep, we had 3 water rescues this morning from people who apparently could not read signs that said "Road Closed." I am not the vindictive type, but I really hope there insurance company refuses to pay the claim.

Jeep grand Cherokee, stock suspension, Drove through deeper that that in mud/water. Depends on how you handle it!

unless you do not know the road is no longer there.

this is from the floods that just killed 30ish people here in TN a couple weeks ago.

Stay out of the water.

Not saying the guy wasn't an idiot for driving there, but I don't see any "road closed" sign. In AZ that would get the guy a "stupid driver" ticket.

Good chance he was on a run, and the water running over the roadbed hid the washout. So it looked "crossable." Ops over that area were pretty hairy for a while.

yeah, not blaming an ambulance dude, just showing that you don't know whats under muddy water.

One of our local energy providers is finding more ways to go green. Right next it this is a hub for another power company, they were mowing their grass.
