I can remember my "bag-boy" days many many decades ago. We used to keep the boxes the can goods came in and used them to bag groceries for people that asked for them. But this says everything for sure...

I remember those boxes. And you could get a double bag too. I'll take paper any day.. A renewable resource......

I was wondering, has anybody else noticed how parking lots are changing? Today we went to Walmart for a few items. And is seems they decided to reserve even more parking spaces for "pickup parking". What in the world is pickup parking and why are lots and lots of parking spaces now reserved for such reasons?

It used to be that stores had one or two reserved parking sports for true handicap people. And I think that is a good thing. But seem everybody these days have some handicap reason to get such vehicle permits and the stores now reserve lots and lots more handicap spaces for the growing numbers. I find it really hard to believe that we have such a handicap population these days. Now the stores are reserving more spots for pickup parking. So if it keeps up, I can leave the vehicle home and just walk to the stores. It is getting close to that anyway. I believe a TRUE handicap person deserves reserved parking close to the doors. But I see so many that park with their handicap permits hanging in the front window, and get out of their vehicles and nearly sprint to the store. I guess their handicap is more of a mental issue for some... Just makes me wonder how far out from any store's doors normal people will be parking in a few years? Now how can I get my handicap permit...I can't run a ten minute mile so there you go! lol

Started back during the first lockdown when you couldn’t have customers in the stor. Order on-line and pickup curbside.

Most if not all of our local retailers now offer curb side pick up of some sort.

Incase you haven’t noticed the population of the US has doubled in the past 60 years. Throw in the large percentage of seniors in the population and your lucky there are any non-handicapped spaces at all

Heck, we can even order groceries for curb side pickup

The Gold Standard is an F-150 with a disabled placard. Park anywhere.

Lowes has both Purple Heart and Veterans reserved parking, plus the pick up and disabled spots.

lol......unless you live around here.
F-150 doesn’t fit in a standard parking space. Have to park out in the bleachers and walk half the time

A Ranger with a placard then. Park in the closest spot.

Is that fake door setup just attached to the regular dishwasher door, or is the regular dishwasher door completely removed...at least the front skin section?

its a Bosch 800 series with no door, you make one. I have a guy that has done my kitchen cabinets and several other odd projects for me; hes really pretty good (and has taken my feedback to heart), he's open to my crazy ideas (and enjoys them) and he's really cheap - only charged me $60 for the fake. I painted to match.

never thought i'd spend $1200 on a freaking dishwasher but it is sooooooo quiet and it cleans soooooooo well. Its so quiet many times i forget its on until I hear the discharge into the disposer side of the sink.

Okay thanks for that info. We bought a KitchenAid dishwasher a little over a year ago and it too has the same quiet db rating as the Bosch version. It was a toss-up between the two but the wifey liked the KitchenAid one better (cost about the same as well). IDK. And it too is remarkably quiet to the point that I have to ask the wife if it is running or look at the messages displayed on the front.
