Saw some locals years back, they took a hood of an old 1940's ? Car, put a transom on it and were putting around Chelsea lake with it .

There used to be a guy around here that welded two of those hoods together to make a fat tin canoe. Used to see him out fishing all the time until sometime in the 1980's. Maybe it rusted out on him. We used to get them back when I was young, tie a rope to the front and stand on them to ride down hills like a toboggan. Broke my thumb once doing that.
